Even though this is extreme, I still wish I had this in Romans last year…

    I’m confused. Was it really that bad? I’ve never known the Double B to be adverse to questions.

    This is a STUPID flowchart. Asking thoughtful and penetrating questions is how any student learns. Otherwise the prof is involved in some mindless content download. Some classes lend themselves to questions better. Typically, the smaller the class, the better the interrogation atmosphere.

    The big stop sign where most questions end in the flow chart above, and the rather limiting nature of all of the alternatives tells me that this chart was developed for pedagogic incompetents. If you ever find a professor sporting a class with good student to teacher ratio handing this sort of drivel out, find some other class, you won’t get your monies worth on this one.

    This is not to dismiss the fact that obnoxious students who ask pointless, inane, and stupid questions do exist. Just don’t be one of them. Think about what is being said, stay on topic, and ask your question at the first convenient opportunity.

    Agreed entirely on being too limiting, although 1) Romans was that bad, and 2) do I ask pointless, inane, stupid questions? 😀
